“I hope this piece of reflection does justice to what I experienced in and through the Arab Womb Healing container facilitated by Noor. I want to start by acknowledging my trust in Noor’s intuitive gifts as a divinely timed answer to the kind of deep support and sense of belonging that I was calling in. As soon as we started, I could see the thoughtfulness and care that went into her curation of topics and speakers, which added a lot of value to my learning process as it expanded my horizons and my own network of medicinal resources. Having said that, it really was the integration-based embodiment practices that I found to be the deepest and most rewarding…As I sit here writing this a couple of months later – I can truly attest to how that aspect of the experience transformed my way of relating to myself and to the people in my life in unprecedented ways. I feel I can bring more of myself to the table; and am more discerning over which tables to bring myself to. My relationship to myself got more intimate, more filled with trust and more steady, as I choose to honor my own boundaries before expecting anyone else to; the impulse to appease at my own expense has been dissolving in ways that still feel scary at times. In the intimacy of our small group I felt as seen in my rage and grief as I did in my wisdom and humor.
